CPL/ME/IR program

Our program consist of 3 modules

  • MEP LAND
  • ME/IR
  • CPL

All our training is performed in multi engine (DA42) aircraft and simulator. The SE/IR will automatically be added to your license if you hold a valid SEP.

CPL/ME/IR package

For the total cost of the program, add training cost, skill test and accommodation.

We have never had to invoice more than the package cost. An extra session is added without cost if needed. This could be the case if there should be a few days brake between last flight and the skill test or other reasons decided by the head of training.

 

Training program: 329 000 SEK Fees such as landings, maps/charts are included.

Skill test: 29 000 SEK (Includes the CPL/MEP, ME/IR skill tests, aircraft and examiner fees)

Accommodation: 21 000   (25 000 SEK for larger room) All our rooms are equipped with your own shower and toilet. Bed linen and towels are included. Recreational area with Jacuzzi, sauna, pool table, ping pong table, small gym and massage chair.

Total cost: 379 000 SEK  (with normal size room.)

 

 

Selection process

 

Our procedure is to collect the applications and thereafter we select 4-5 students. We select from the applications    5-6 months prior to each course start.

  • Fill out DFAS application form completely using adobe and attach minimum requested documents
  • If not selected you will be placed on stand by list. You can also apply more than once
  • 5-6 months prior to each course start we notify all applicants of the selection

Skill tests

Our examiners perform skill tests for most EASA states. However, we ask sometimes to change state of issue. Make sure to check the status of your preferred state of issue.

 

CPL/MEP: 1,7 hrs DA42 aircraft with examiner

IR/ME: 1,3 hrs DA42 aircraft with examiner (IR/SE will be automatically added to your license if you hold a valid SEP)

Pre entry requirement

The pre entry requirements must be met the day of the course start. However, we appreciate at least a one month buffer from the planned day of the last item to the course start applied for. This is to avoid any unnecessary delays for your course start.

  • ICAO PPL with NQ (i.e. EASA, UK, FAA)
  • 160h total flight time in aircraft of which;
  • 100h PIC of which;
  • 50h cross country of which;
  • one navigation flight of 300nm including 3 airports.
  • EASA ATPL theory completed
  • Reference from your previous flight instructor or a former DFAS student

Accommodation

DFAS offers accommodation on the premises just next to the airport, within 5 minutes from shopping malls and 10 minutes from the city center. The accommodation is a former SPA hotel with single rooms with shower/toilet. The SPA will be open for use during your stay here at DFAS. Shared kitchen with storage and cooking facilities. Recreational area with Jacuzzi, Sauna, pool table, table tennis and massage chair.

The cost of the accommodation includes bed linen and towels and covers the duration of the program. There are two categories of accommodation as follows:

 

Category 1: Single room with own shower/toilet  

Category 2: Large single room with own shower/toilet
